RSP Entertainment is committed to protecting the privacy and security of any personal data that you provide to us or that we collect about you, and that we will call Personal Information. Personal Information is information that identifies you and/or which relates to you and may include your name, address, date of birth, payment card details, gaming history, account details, and any other information that we hold about you.

We will be a controller (also known as a "data controller") in respect of your Personal Information. We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time, and therefore recommend that you review this Privacy Notice regularly.

KYC procedure

The Company will collect certain minimum Player identification information from each Player who opens an account. The Company will not accept to open anonymous accounts or accounts in fictitious names such that the true beneficial owner is not known. The information required will include at least:

  • Player's date of birth (showing that the player is over eighteen (18) years of age);

  • Player's first and last name;

  • Player's place of residence;

  • Player's valid email address.

As part of the KYC procedure, we may request additional documents from you to verify your identity. These documents may include:

  • A copy of a valid identity card or passport;

  • Proof of address;

  • A copy of your credit card statement. In case the customer can't provide that, a copy of the front and back sides of the credit card (with covered numbers except the first 6 digits and last 4).

How your Personal Information is collected

In order for us to operate our websites and provide you with access to our gaming products and other services, you will be asked to provide your Personal Information for the purposes of registering and opening an account with us. You are under no obligation to provide Personal Information to us. However, certain Personal Information is essential in order for us to provide you with our services (for example, enabling you to play the games on the website or to initiate certain financial transactions via our website), and you might not be able to obtain certain services if you choose to withhold information we have requested that is required for those services.

How your personal information is used

  • where we are required to do so in accordance with legal or regulatory obligations;

Your Personal Information may be disclosed by us to any companies which are part of our group of companies and processed by such companies in accordance with this Privacy Notice.

We may also disclose your Personal Information to data processors to provide services on our behalf. Such processors will only process your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Notice, and we will have a contract in place with each such processor to ensure your Personal Information is kept secure.

We may also disclose your Personal Information in the following circumstances:

  • where required by applicable law or regulation to a governmental, regulatory or enforcement authority;
  • in order to defend ourselves legally and/or in relation to legal proceedings; and
  • if we undertake a group or company restructuring, and transfer the operation of this website to another member of our group;
  • if we choose to outsource the operation of this website to a third-party service provider; and/or
  • whilst negotiating a takeover, sale, purchase or merger, financing, investment, restructuring or other proceeding involving the sale, transfer, divestiture or disclosure of all or a portion of our business or assets, and pursuant to the same.

No decisions based on the data provided by you which may have a significant effect on your player account with us are undertaken in a solely automated fashion.

Affiliates

If you signed up via the affiliate’s website, by either using affiliate’s registration code or arriving at the RedStar website via the affiliate’s website, we will associate your player account with the affiliate program you have signed up with. We will make your player id, login and country, together with the summarised information about your gaming results available to your affiliate partner.

Marketing

We may engage the services of third-party service providers to provide you with certain marketing services. We take steps to ensure that arrangements with these parties protect your privacy by ensuring that these parties comply strictly with our instructions when they are processing your Personal Information.

As registered users of our website, you can tell us whether or not you wish to be contacted for marketing purposes. Marketing communications about the website may contain information about:

Retention of your Personal Information

Accordingly, your Personal Information will be retained for a minimum of five years following the closure of your account (if applicable) or the last contact with us from you. Where it is no longer necessary for us to process your Personal Information, we will delete it sooner. If you request that you should not be able to access our websites, applications and services (i.e. self-exclude), we will retain this information for a minimum of seven years.

Updating and controlling your Personal Information.

You can update your Personal Information at any time via your account details page on the website. We request that where your Personal Information changes you update your account as soon as possible.

If you are a data subject under GDPR scope, you have certain rights in relation to your data. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, you can email your request to our support team at support@redstarpoker.com. Please note that for certain requests a fee of €10 is payable for the request to be processed. For more information regarding your rights, you can contact your local data protection authority.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file with text data placed in your browser. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual.

We use traffic log cookies (via Google Analytics) to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about webpage traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes.

We use session cookies to identify your current website session and keep you logged in in your current browser. These cookies do not contain any of your Personal Information and are automatically deleted by your browser at the end of your session.

We use tracking cookies when you reached our website via the affiliate’s website, to associate your account with your affiliate program. These cookies are long-lived to let you sign up with your chosen affiliate later, even if you have decided to not do it on the first visit.

Application of This Notice

This Notice sets out our Privacy Notice and the way your information is collected and used. This Notice applies to all information collected from or submitted to our websites. Affiliates' websites may operate under their own privacy notices as provided at said sites. Our website contains links to other websites operated by third parties. RSP Entertainment is not responsible for the privacy practices or policies of such third-party websites, and this Notice does not apply to those websites.

This Notice applies only to the information collected via the websites of RSP Entertainment. It does not apply to information collected by RSP in any other way, including offline.
